Amelia & JC's Engagement Session

I am so glad to have met these two love birds. :) They are just plain sweet. So laid back, down to earth, and up for just about anything. From just the couple hours we had together, I can just tell they were made for each other. Between incorporating the camo, the highly esteemed truck, and writing on trees and boots with chalk, their session really became their own and they took it and ran with it! We had such a perfect day to shoot and the sun boosted the colors in the trees perfectly. (Much better than the originally scheduled session which was gloomy and gray!)

Gilliatt Family Session

Another fun urban shoot at Fountain Square! I loved these outfits that Crys coordinated for her boys... just the perfect amount of pizzazz to play off of the colorful city life of Indy. Oh, and the fedoras - Classic. It was a perfect setting once again, so vibrant and full of energy, just like her boys! ;)

A special thanks to her friend for hanging out with us to entertain the little guys!!

Davis Family Mini Session

This family has such an amazing story. Raven and Josh have two of the biggest hearts I know for adopting. And while it's not official yet, we are praying hard that they will be able to keep these two angels!

We enjoyed a little mini-shoot at the Anderson Apple Orchard in Pleasant View near Indy, and I hope they had a little time to enjoy the festivities after the session! Poor little Piper woke up with a fever that morning, but she was such a trooper. And Brice was just loving the camera! (You can tell Josh is his hero!)

Thanks for meeting me out at the orchard Raven and Josh! It was so good seeing you if even just for a little visit!

Souder Family Session

I wish somebody could have recorded my face as I was working on these images, because I'm sure it would have been entertaining. Between the snickering, furrowing (with concentration), squealing and gasping, I'm sure I looked like quite the nerd.

But in spite of all of that, I am so pumped to post these! SO thrilled with how they turned out! Love the fall setting (thank you mom), love the family (mostly because they're mine) and love the fact that they are not afraid to be totally themselves, and that always makes for the best results. Nothing makes me happier than to know people are having a blast during the session!

Ok... well, except when they are giddy with excitement and jumping up and down when they see their pics... that makes me even happier. :)

And can I just say that they are one good looking bunch of kids?? All nine of them!

Knott Family Mini-Session

First of all, I love this family! They always make me feel so welcome and like one of the gang. Kristin did an excellent job getting fun ideas and props together, and Dina's "KNOTT" letters turned out to make awesome pictures! And of course the kids were just as animated as always. ;)

Second of all, I love this location!! So excited to finally get to shoot at Salomon Farms, which just happens to be right across the street from my house! It's so perfect... especially this time of year with the tall grass and wildflowers and turning leaves. And the barns add that nostalgic, carefree touch.

Hope you have as much fun viewing this mini-session as much as I did shooting it! {Can't wait to do it again!}

Leslie & Chad's Wedding

Leslie has been such a pleasure to work with, and I'm so glad that her pictures turned out so well for her! She is seriously one of those people who is instantly your friend five seconds after you meet her. I loved that everyone in her bridal party had such a great sense of humor, and her mom was by far the most amazingly prepared-for-anything woman I have ever met. We battled a little rain, but as they say, it's good luck on your wedding day. Leslie and Chad ~ here's wishing all the happiness in the world to two very deserving people!
