Katie's Maternity Session

I am so beyond excited for my new little niece to make her debut... lil' Rodey #2! Katie was again, the picture of perfection as an expectant mom, and I know Emily is going to be awesome at this big sister thing! (Sorry you'll be outnumbered Mike, Ryan knows how it is in this family!)

We had a breathtaking scene at Benton Harbor, MI with the evening sun sparkling over Lake Michigan. I really need to come spend a day or two here just to simply enjoy all the area has to offer - it's so inviting!

Great to visit with you, Rodey's! Great pick on the location and outfits... it was all perfect! Now we just sit back and reminisce while we wait for little miss to arrive! xoxo

Emily's and Isla's Combined Birthday Session 2017

These cousin cuties have birthdays just one day apart, and now that they only live a couple hours away, we decided to celebrate their birthdays together! And of course, needing to document how quickly our children change and grow, we threw in a quick photo session for Emily and Isla at little park in Portage, MI.

It was extremely sunny that morning, but not too hot, and our two little girls were very quickly getting busy exploring the scene. I had forgotten how peaceful lake beaches are, compared to the ocean, and mentally started planning out our next family boating trip! Isla, on the other hand, as curious as she was, wouldn't dare stick her toes in that water!

Happy 2nd birthday Emily, and happy 3rd birthday Isla! I am such a lucky aunt and mommy to be called yours! Xoxo
