The Rookus Family 2018

I am happy to call this sweet family our neighbors! It's been so fun getting to know them over the last couple years, so when Alexa asked me if I could squeeze in a last minute family session, I couldn't resist! We ended up shooting in downtown Garrett for that small-town nostalgic feel. It was a bit
chilly that morning, but the kids did great! I think they mostly enjoyed throwing leaves at each other - what sibling wouldn't?

Thank you for the opportunity, Josh and Alexa! It was a fun little outing, and hope your kiddos enjoyed their hot cocoa when they got home!

Aldrich Family Session 2018

A.k.a: The Many Faces of Case and Coy! These two cuties are all b-o-y. Luckily, their birthdays are less than a month apart, which is really convenient for annual family photos! We've used the same backdrop every year, the huge sliding door in the foyer, dad's toy tractors, and a big metal bucket. It's so cute looking back and seeing how they've grown in that same setting! This year Danielle embellished it with a cute fall scarf, piano bench and some pumpkins which made even all the more adorable. Then we trecked outside for a couple quick family shots in front of the fall foliage and in the hay loft. The one of the boys and Dad in the hay barn just made me melt!

So thankful for this family entrusting their family portraits to me each year. Always such a joy!

Cylus's 1 Year Session

It always feels like just yesterday when I have a one year session for a little one that I've also done a newborn session for. I'll just never understand how time goes so fast! This little guy is quite the cutie, and the apple of Mom and Dad's eyes! Ever exploring, just like every little boy I know, and always happy for every photo shoot.

Thank you for covering your walls with my photography, Chelcea and Andy! And give your little bundle of joy a squeeze for me!

Sophie's 1 Year Session

This girl is all smiles and sunshine! I just love her to pieces. For her one year session, we decorated her mom's childhood rocking chair with balloons next to her giant cupcake smash cake in the middle of the yard. She was perfectly content just sitting there, fascinated by those bubbly things floating above her head. Then we took the session indoors with gold glitter stars, pink ribbons, gold and pink "ONE" letters, and of course, the smash cake! Which... she didn't really want, haha! But we talked her in to a couple bites! I think she had more fun watching her mom and I fawning over her to get her attention.

Happy 1st birthday, little lady!! Love watching you grow!
