Sarma Family Maternity Session 2022

There is something truly magical about maternity sessions. The hope of new life, the anticipation of a new little face to love and all the intimacy between the family shine through. Porishmita was nothing short of stunning in her deep red maternity flier, standing out against the sandy November hues. And with only two weeks left of the pregnancy to go, she modeled for me marvelously! Her daughter Trisha and husband Alinda joined her for some sweet shots as a soon-to-be family of four. They all braved the chilly air to document this precious time, and the results were well worth it.

James' Senior Session

The last of six kids, James is getting ready to make his way into the world. He's interested in welding, loves his church, and is an awesome baseball player! I know his momma's heart could just about burst just watching him during his session, let alone now that the final images are in her hands! I'll admit I was a little wary of sheduling a shoot mid-November, but I don't think Matea could have been a more perfect backdrop for James' session. The weather wasn't too bad at all, and he was even brave enough for shorts! The grasses and the trees had just the right neutral hues, and I explored a few new areas I don't normally shoot in. Results below!!

Aldrich Family Session 2022

 I look forward to this session every year. I love that from the time they were infants, Danielle had me take photos of her boys in the same metal bucket in their foyer. Someday I'm going to have to do some side by side comparisons from their early years! And not only are their arms and legs growing like crazy, but so are those personalities! Jarrod couldn't wait to include his even-bigger tractor this year in the family photos, and the boys couldn't wait to sit in the driver's seat either. We snuck in a couple shots of just mom and dad, which got photobombed more than once, but if that's not real life, I don't know what is!
