Kimberly's Maternity Session

Soon to be welcoming my newest little niece! My sister-in-law Kimberly looked radiant in every setting... first the wintery evergreens and then downtown South Haven. The floral headpiece for both Kimberly and Kenzi were a last minute craft, and I love how it accentuated that flowing wine maternity dress!

I love this sweet family and am so glad they're mine. So excited for Little Miss Schewe's debut!

Freeze Family Session

I've photographed a couple of these little cuties for their preschool pictures, but this is the first time I've done a session for the whole Freeze clan. Chilly and slightly drizzling, we had to work fast, but you'd never know it by the way the pictures turned out! The kids were just adorable in their hats, and the scenery on Skinner Lake was so serene with the leaves bright and bold. I am a tad jealous of your view, Jamie! ;)

So here they are! My last family session of the season just in time for the holidays. Enjoy, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Cylus's Newborn Session

Welcome Baby Heinfeld! So happy to introduce this little guy to the world! Just a wee thing, but strong and growing fast, Cylus was born to Chelcea and Andy on October 16th, 2017. You might remember Chelcea's maternity session this past fall, full of the sweet decor now adorning his nursery where we had this session.
Cylus was probably the easiest newborn I've photographed yet, so sleepy and happy! I think we got through this session in record time. Working with him reminds me of just how big my youngest guy is getting and makes me want to snuggle him just a little bit harder!

Congratulations on your little bundle of joy, Andy and Chelcea! And thank you for allowing me to decorate your home with all these milestones!

Aldrich Family Session 2017

I love watching this family change and grow every year... but this session was especially fun! Two boys 3 and under is sure to be an adventure, and especially two boys under 3 on a farm. We ended up having a few hilarious blooper shots that I couldn't ignore - from blinding bear hugs to hiding in the dog house to cake smash meltdowns and a photo bombing cow! (Not to be confused with the 100% adorable 1 day old calf.... heart. melt.)

This is real life, people. That's why I love capturing moments like these. You just can't make this stuff up, but it's all too familiar to those of us with young ones who are so full of curiosity and love to explore until they're so tuckered out they can hardly keep their little eyes open. And poor mom and dad are exhausted themselves, but oh so patient and loving scooping their kiddos up to try to squeeze in one last "cheese" for the camera.

Great job, as always, Danielle and Jarrod! Hope you will cherish these moments for years to come!
