Chelcea's Maternity Session

Way back in 2014 I was honored to photograph this couple's wedding on one of the prettiest rainy October days I can remember. (See their wedding photos here... you may even recognize the same color theme!) The trees were phenomenally colored, and Chelcea and Andy couldn't be happier... until this year.

Enter baby Cylus.

Chelcea was as radiant as ever, completing her look with the same Chuck Taylor's worn in her wedding, and had that expectant glow that was just magnified with the October sunset. I loved that she included lots of little things that would be going into their little one's room. She has a special place in her heart for heirlooms!

Congratulations Chelcea and Andy... I can officially say your little boy is just ADORABLE now that he has since arrived! Anxiously anticipating getting those newborn portraits edited for you so the whole world can swoon!

Chelsea & Jaron ~ the Engagement

Pretty sure this is the world's cutest couple!! Chelsea and Jaron were so much fun during their engagement session. We had great scenery at Matea Park, and the golden hour light was just glorious. Chelsea challenged me to another first... using a smoke grenade. Depsite being afraid that I would burn down the park, I managed to find a "cool fused" grenade that is supposed to be perfectly safe and easy to use. I made Jaron do it, haha! The smoke threatened to overtake us a few times, but the end results were nothing short of amazing!

Chelsea and Jaron, thank you for allowing me to capture your adventurous spirits in action! I am so looking forward to your wedding next May!

Carly & Eli ~ the Wedding

Set in rural Wauseon Ohio, Carly and Eli tied the knot at the charming Fulton County Fairgrounds. The chapel was like nothing I've seen before, with large doors opening on every side to let in all the sweet natural light and fresh autumn air. In other words... a photographer's dream. Add in several rustic buildings, rolling fields and fall foliage and, well... you'll see why I love their pictures so much!

The wedding held a bittersweet undertone as the groom's father had passed away earlier this year. But he was definitely present in the hearts of family and friends, and Eli, along with his mother and sister, honored him continually throughout the day. Not a dry eye was at the reception when he surprised his mother by dancing with her to the last song that she danced to with Eli's dad.

I just truly love this couple. The way they adore each other was so evident watching them throughout the day. Congratulations again, Carly and Eli! Thank you for allowing me to share in one of the greatest days of your life!
