George Henley's Newborn Session

What a cutie this little guy is! There is something so precious about a new baby - the way they sound, the way they smell, the way they move. Henley brought back all those memories of my own little ones when they first came into the world, and it made me just a little sad. Which is just one more reason I love my job. To preserve memories like this - to keep them little just a little longer anytime we want to look back through the baby albums.

Seriously, don't you just want to scoop him up and nuzzle? Congratulations on your sweet blessing, Lindsay and Ryan!

Coy's 1 Year Session

This adorable little guy is such a hoot! He is so active and loves experimenting with anything he can get his hands on - from the tractor, to the cows, to the pom poms and birthday cake, he is a busy 1 year old! It has been such a pleasure and an honor photographing the first year of his life. These sessions always amaze me because coming in at 6 month intervals, it feels like just yesterday that we were shooting his newborn session! {And I LOVE that Danielle incorporated the same washtub shots in each session - they will look so awesome lined up together seeing how much he's grown!}

Wishing you a very happy first birthday, Coy Charles. Thank you for letting me share in your little blessing, Danielle & Jarrod!

Rinehold Family Session 2015

This sweet family are good friends of my own extended family. I've met Courtney a few times, and I love her eclectic style. Their beautiful home surrounded by woods in Cedar Canyon is inviting and full of life - another perfect background for a photo session. Courtney is a registered dietitian and nutritionist (check her out, here!) and I wholeheartedly agree on many of her philosophies using real food to heal. We took some profile shots during the session, too, for her new blog coming soon!

What a beautiful little family! It was a joy working with all three of them, and hope to do it again next year!

Yourdon Family Session 2015

I fell in love with this family right away. It's always so obvious when a family is close-knit and fun-lovng, and their inside jokes provided entertainment during the entire session! Just moving to Fort Wayne from Carmel, I could relate to being the newbies in town. Susan was completely fascinated by all the red barns around town, so naturally, we included the historic Salomon barn in our session.

To Bryan, Susan & kids ~ I had a great time getting to know each one of you! I hope you are beginning to feel settled in this welcoming city we call home, and have a Merry Christmas!!
