Knott Family 2024

 It's been a few years since I have photographed the Knott family all together, so it was a much needed update! I'm pretty sure most of the grands were knee high last time. We had a short but sweet session at the lovely Knott homestead, and just barely missing the rain. The white fence along the long country driveway were so nostalgic. Everyone did great, and my favorite images are always the laughs from teasing each other while posing. 

Families are each so sweet and have personality all of their own, and I really appreciate this one taking the time out to make this session happen! 

Rodewald Family 2023

 Last session of the season, and I get to show off my cute little nieces (who are growing way to fast)! This year we took pictures in downtown Auburn for a little change in scenery, and it didn't disappoint! We had to of course snap a quick pic in front of the antique store with the cameras in the window. Then found a nice stone archway before heading across the street to the downtown shops on Main. Finally we walked to the outdoor pavilion with its modern curves and architecture for some sunlit close-ups. Charlie joined us for a few family portraits at the end!

I love my family and their sunny smiles! It's always so fun when we get to see them!

Schewe Family 2023

A few years ago, I took family photos for the Schewe's (my sweet family) in this same location, and I thought they would be hard to beat. But... I love these all over again!! There is something about that shoreline in South Haven that is just such a perfect setting. The lighting is always dreamy no matter what the sky looks like, the water is always pretty, and the sand and rocks are perfectly neutral and unobtrusive so as not to take away from the important part - those smiling faces! I love the chemistry they have as a family, the smiles are never forced and it's evident that they enjoy just being together. We even brought in Ryan's parents and brother for a much needed updated family portrait! It was a short and sweet session on a chilly day by the lake, but the warmth still comes through. 💛
