Wynne's 10 Month {Retro} Session

This 10 month shoot almost snuck by me since my mind was on turkey. Wynne is just the right size to wear one of my dresses from when I was a baby, so I thought my mom might get a kick out of seeing it in her photos this time! Turns out, vintage is "in" and we got tons of compliments - who knew?! Plus it kind of worked out to have her in red since we are getting close to the holidays. ;) I thought her little red hairclips were a nice touch too, until I later discovered we were missing one after the fourth picture, haha! She was happy to show off her new skills of standing and waving "hi", and of course showing off all four of her teeth! Such a proud mama :)

Wynne's 9 Month Session

I'm not sure what happened - but I went overboard this month. Waaaaaaayyyyy too many pictures! Wynne is sitting up so well that I can plop her anywhere and take a picture now, which would be great if she would stay still long enough! And I just can't get enough of that crooked grin, complete with two bottom teeth! Love it!!! I set up the trusty ol' tripod again so I could have a few shots with her myself, which turned out to be quite tricky when you have a baby that fusses at that annoying beeping sound. Oh, and please note my favorite - the huge cowlick on the side of her head that she dawned after her nap! It was too adorable to fix. :) She's getting so many expressions and perfecting the technique of baby babble that I edited nearly every picture I snapped that day. I need to get a grip. Who armed me with a camera?

Henry ~ St. Laurent Family Session

I'm thinking of making Adrienne my official photo shoot planner, haha! Once again, she had the perfect props, setting, coordinating outfits and posing ideas, and even the weather was amazing! We saw several other families and couples taking advantage of the ideal photo opportunities too. The trees (as you will see) were just gorgeous. And as always, Addy and Tate were right on target for some great candids! Such a great family - you can tell they have a good time when they're all together.

Already looking forward to next summers "urban" shoot! ;)

Wynne's 8 Month Session

This month's photo shoot with Wynne was very short (but sweet!), as getting the weather, temperments and to-do lists to all align properly was a bit of a challenge! But she never fails to come through for me with some classics. :) Its so fun now, having more options for posing now that she can sit by herself, and stand - at least for a few seconds with mom close by!

Oh, and even more exciting news: her photo just got picked to be in the running for Cute Kid of the Week on Parents.com!!!
