Rookus Family Session 2020

 I am missing this sweet family living just two roads down from us. But I absolutely love their setting at their new home - a photographer's dream! These kids are mostly the same ages as my own, and they too are growing up way too fast. But at every age - so adorable! I know the challenges of a large family, but I have always admired how patient and calm Josh and Alexa are. They are a beautiful family inside and out.

Rodewald Extended Family Session 2020

 If ever there was a year to appreciate being able to get together with family, I think this would be it! Extended family is such a treasure. It is always something I had been taught to appreciate since I was a kid. Extended family sessions are some of the most precious memories to capture since being together is not an everyday event. For this session, I met the Rodewald's at the Bow in the Clouds Preserve in Kalamazoo. The pictures turned out so warm and inviting despite how chilly it actually was that day! But we survived thanks to a handful of candy corn and a lot of smile prompting! In the end, the kids did what they do best and had a blast just being together. Everyone here knew how blessed they are to have each other, and it shows!

Arnold Family Session 2020

I just had the pleasure of meeting this family for the first time and found out we are neighbors! Stephanie and Ryan recently moved to the Fort Wayne area and were referred to me (I'm honored!) for a quick mini-session for the kids. I think we might have picked the busiest day of the year for Matea Park, since the trees were peaking in color and the weather was a lovely seventy degrees! Dancing in the grass, running through the trails and picking flowers... they were simply adorable and did a great job just being themselves. I just love how these turned out!!

Aldrich Family Session 2020

 Another amazing family that trusts me every year to document their journey together! These boys grow faster than I can keep track of. I feel like I was just taking newborn photos! Even their engagement photos seem like yesterday! I love how every year we take them at their home, and use the same wall and metal tub for the boys pictures. It really shows how fast time flies. This year we got to play on the pretty red Farmall out by the cornfield. It matches Jared's toy tractors that we use in the boy's pictures every year, too! Growing up on a farm will establish some pretty strong memories in Coy and Case, and I'm so thankful to capture some of these memories of "home" for them to treasure the rest of their lives.
