Heinfeld Family Session 2019

This is another fave little family of mine... the Heinfeld's! I have watched them grow from their engagement session on, and now their little boy is already two! We took their pictures at Grandpa's farm... who also happens to be Cylus's favorite person... which is the same place where they had their wedding. It is nothing short of breathtaking there when the leaves change! And it was a gorgeous morning, with the sun rays cutting through the fog and the woods. Although it was a bit chilly that morning and you can even see some frost on the grass, Cylus didn't mind nearly as much as we adults did! He was off like any other toddler, tractor in hand, exploring the world. You could tell he is right at home there on Grandpa's farm.

Mitchell Family Session 2019

I love the friendships we have grown over the years with our neighbors. Few things makes me happier than to see my kids drop everything to go outside and play with their friends! The Mitchell's were one of the first families on our block and I am amazed at how quickly their kiddos are growing, just like mine, way too fast! That's part of why I love my job capturing these moments to freeze time even for just a little bit.

Rachel, being the amazingly talented planner she is, found a gorgeous family owned farm in Roanoke to have a mini-session for the family. The tall grass, old white bank barn and fall sunset couldn't have been more perfect! I love how these turned out! There's just something about October in the country...  <3

Emily & Sophie Fall 2019

These girls and their baby doll faces - I can't get enough! We were rushing to get these done before losing our lighting, but I love how the sunset lit up the grass like fireflies at the end. We had a fun day visiting the Apple Festival in Kendallville on a perfect fall day before stopping at a vacant lot in the back of our neighborhood to get in a quick mini-session. The leaves were just starting to change! These two lovelies did a great job!

Finley's Newborn Session

I've recently done sessions for a couple little red-head baby boys, and now adding a third... and he's all mine!!! Welcoming our new little guy Finley Allen into the world on July 18! Never in a million years did I think I would have a red-haired child, and it's so hard for me to even try to figure out which of his siblings he looks like the most because of it! My mom has been wishing and hoping red hair into every one of my kids, and now she can finally say the gene has been passed on. It's fairly common in both my mom's family and my husband's mom's family.

But enough about hair... I'm truly enjoying these little baby coos and snuggles once again, even though the nights are long, I am making an effort to soak up and treasure all these little moments knowing now just how fast they grow up. Finn is adored by all his sisters and especially his brother who can't seem to leave him alone for more than five minutes. He is a sweet one!!

Ellie's Newborn Session

Meet little Ellie Kate! Born just 28 hours after her cousin, Baker, we got to meet her at the same time for their newborn sessions. You can tell she feels so safe and secure, whether in dad's arms or mom's, and just content to be their little princess. And she has the sweetest llama nursery decor, we had to include it in some of the pics!

Congratulations, Jeremy and Casie, on your first precious one! Enjoy those snuggles!!
