Chelcea & Andy ~ the Engagement Session

I've been looking forward to working with Chelcea since I met her - a girl after my own heart who loves photography and graphic design. After this session, I'm even more excited for the wedding! I LOVE the setting at her parents home in the country, I love that she and Andy aren't afraid to show off their "rock" and keychain because they're part of their love story, and most of all I know they're great people because they didn't kick me to the curb after butchering their names like 12 times! (Maybe a little sympathy for the prego brain, lol!) Oh, and I got some farm fresh eggs to take home. Can't beat that!!

Looking forward to seeing what's in store for these two in October! It's going to be a beautiful wedding!

Hinkle 50th Anniversary Session

Being married 50 years is such an admirable accomplishment in itself, but Mr. and Mrs. Hinkle have done it gracefully while raising up such a strong, Christian family they will always be proud of. And their grandchildren especially are their pride and joy! They have all been so blessed, and I am honored to be able to capture memories of their family during this special time in their lives.

Here's to many, many more years of wedded bliss!

Casie & Jeremy ~ Engagement Session

Love this girl - not just because she's my 'cuz, but she has one of the best personalities ev. er. That's why when Jeremy came along, I think we were all amazed at how well he complimented her with his own quirkiness and sense of humor! They are so adorable together, and behind all the teasing and sarcasm, it's evident they truly get each other and can't live without one another. So excited to see what's in store for their wedding in November, and can't wait to officially welcome Jeremy to our crazy family! :D

Oh and a special thanks to our llama friend who was kind enough to join us for pictures - it was the best part of Casie's day!

Casey & Adam ~ the Wedding

I cannot say enough about how great this wedding was! The venue was gorgeous, the weather was perfect, {the food was seriously the best wedding food I've ever had - and that's saying a lot!}, fabulous dj, and of course the bride and groom looked smashing. I was so impressed with how smoothly everything went, but even more so with how great of a crowd was at this wedding! Usually we have a groomsman or two who like to have a good time, but the entire guest list was full of friends and family who know how to let loose and have the party of a lifetime! Which can only mean awesome pics!!!

Casey and Adam, we truly wish you the best, and know that whatever adventure life takes you on as husband and wife, you will be able to embrace it and make it fun. You (and your entire family) are such a pleasure to work with! Enjoy looking back on the many memories of your perfect wedding!

Casey & Adam's Engagement Session

Finally, the grass is green, the birds are singing, and it's time to get outside and shoot again! (Seriously... longest. winter. ever.) Casey and Adam had a beautiful morning session at Southeastway park! I love it when couples are such polar opposites - Casey very much a city girl and Adam a country boy - and yet I could tell in the short time we were together how head over heels they are for each other. Oh, and their little girl, ILY! :) Really enjoyed working with this couple, and can't wait to photograph their wedding at the Marott next month!!

Wells Family Session

First of all, I LOVE the name Stella. Second of all, I love that she reminds me so much of my own little girl - blonde curls, sassy, and best friends with the camera! All three were so sweet and fun to work with, and braving the cold again with me at Salomon Farms. And better yet, they were naturals, and I was able to get so many great candid shots of them just having fun. I was so happy that we were able to work a photo shoot into our schedules since we've been trying to get it in the books since October! Well worth the wait! ;)

Rodenbeck Family Session

I had a blast doing this photo shoot for the Rodenbeck family! Every one of them has such a great personality, and the love they have for each other shined in all of their images. And I was so proud of them for braving the cold with me that morning at Salomon Farms. My fingers were numb even through my gloves, and yet they were such troopers posing without even a coat!
