Finley's Newborn Session

I've recently done sessions for a couple little red-head baby boys, and now adding a third... and he's all mine!!! Welcoming our new little guy Finley Allen into the world on July 18! Never in a million years did I think I would have a red-haired child, and it's so hard for me to even try to figure out which of his siblings he looks like the most because of it! My mom has been wishing and hoping red hair into every one of my kids, and now she can finally say the gene has been passed on. It's fairly common in both my mom's family and my husband's mom's family.

But enough about hair... I'm truly enjoying these little baby coos and snuggles once again, even though the nights are long, I am making an effort to soak up and treasure all these little moments knowing now just how fast they grow up. Finn is adored by all his sisters and especially his brother who can't seem to leave him alone for more than five minutes. He is a sweet one!!

Ellie's Newborn Session

Meet little Ellie Kate! Born just 28 hours after her cousin, Baker, we got to meet her at the same time for their newborn sessions. You can tell she feels so safe and secure, whether in dad's arms or mom's, and just content to be their little princess. And she has the sweetest llama nursery decor, we had to include it in some of the pics!

Congratulations, Jeremy and Casie, on your first precious one! Enjoy those snuggles!!

Baker's Newborn Session

What a cutie this little bundle of joy is! Baker, named after his grandparents, looks so much like his big sister. During our little mini session, he was so alert, and strong too, holding his head up and looking around! Sporting a reddish natural mohawk, he couldn't help but rock his session. And if you can't tell - he absolutely adores Grandpa and Grandma. <3

Barrett's Newborn Session

Introducing sweet little Barrett! This guy surprised us with a bit of strawberry blonde hair, and is everything cuddly and adorable. I took my family up to meet the new little guy and see how the rest of the Schewe's were doing soon after he was born, and snuck in a quick newborn session. We are thrilled to have a nephew now, and my son Ari is especially excited to have another boy in the family! My girls each took turns holding him, practicing for their new sibling that will be making a debut in the next couple weeks! Mom and Dad were tired, as all parents are, but beaming with joy. And little Aspen loves to shower him with kisses!a

Congratulations again, Kimberly and Ryan! Another little bundle of perfection for you to love!

Casie's Maternity Session

I was honored to photograph my cousin before her baby shower a couple weeks ago - and take the grand tour of the amazing downtown Miamisburg, Ohio (I was thoroughly impressed!) for her maternity session. Such a quaint, historic and lively town! There were so many well established small businesses everywhere you turned, and enormous old houses still well maintained, all backing up to a beautiful river view. We were there just in time for a spring festival, which thwarted our plans slightly, but Jeremy was on the ball knowing exactly where we should go to get the ideal settings.

I loved the little alley they picked out; wrapping around the back, it reminded me of something straight out of Tuscany. Minus the stucco. The old church door was gated off for the festival, but even the gate added a nice touch! Finally we ended up at a random green building with red doors, which might have been my favorite of all because you could see the real Casie and Jeremy coming out. Despite the anxiety and uncertainty of becoming first time parents, they embrace each other, admire each other, and if all else fails - make each other laugh.

It was a short but very efficient session, due to the time crunch before the shower. Thanks to their brilliant planning ahead with locations and choosing to have great attitudes in the midst of the stress, they'll have sweet memories to share with their little love coming in June! Great job Casie and Jeremy - we are so excited to meet your precious girl!!

Kazzler's Newborn Session

This little beauty is a little mini me of her big sister! We had to push the session back a few times due to both she and I not feeling well, but she was oh so worth the wait. So peaceful and laid back, a typical second child, and Kemper's little doll. We even did a replica pose of one that looked just like Kemper for her newborn session! (Which feels like yesterday, I might add...)
