Addy's Senior Session

This session was special to me. I've been taking family pictures for the St. Laurents since 2011, when this little love was just knee high! I worked with her mom, Adrienne, who clearly has passed on her beauty and fashion sense to her daughter, Addy. I cannot believe she's a senior this year! She has so much going for her - she is an amazing student and cheerleader, and before that she was killing it in gymnastics. As a family, they are so incredibly supportive of each other and it keeps them busy!

We took this session to Matea park to get that naturally beautiful setting. Driving from Indy just for the session, I wanted to make sure we would get the location right the first time, and it couldn't have gone better! It was a bit hot and humid, but you'd never know looking at how well she did. Addy had multiple outfits and even a sweet bouquet to toss into a few pics. But the last 10 minutes or so we headed over to the creek outside the park to get a few pictures in the water, and oh. my. goodness. I am literally giddy over these!! The whole session I was swooning over how beautiful they were turning out, but I was so blown away by the ones in the water.

Addy, you are going to go far in whatever you choose to do! You have the drive and talent to do whatever you set your mind to. And thank you so much, Adrienne and Andy, for continuing to let me capture these moments for you even though there are a couple hours between us now! It's always so fun catching up!

Kelsey's Senior Session

We had a great time photographing this beauty next-door! It took us awhile to settle on a location, but a family friend offered his sunflower and wildflower fields to us just for the occasion. And let me tell you - it was breathtaking!! Kelsey was up for anything, and once she got settled in, she was nailing it. We started off traipsing through the backlit sunflowers, then found a little trail between the trees that looked like something out of a fairy tale. The wildflowers are probably my favorite though. Backing up to the pond, the colors just captured the essence of summer. And her baby blue eyes set it all off! We ended the session at my house in our quaint little macrame swing.

Kelsey was so much fun, and I am excited to see where her journey takes her after graduation. There have been talks of marine science, which is so cool! She's got such spirit and will do amazing in whatever she sets her mind to. Best wishes, Kelsey, make this senior year the best yet!!

Knott Family 2024

It's been a few years since I have photographed the Knott family all together, so it was a much needed update! I'm pretty sure most of the grands were knee high last time. We had a short but sweet session at the lovely Knott homestead, and just barely missing the rain. The white fence along the long country driveway were so nostalgic. Everyone did great, and my favorite images are always the laughs from teasing each other while posing.

Families are each so sweet and have personality all of their own, and I really appreciate this one taking the time out to make this session happen!
