Aldrich Family Session 2022

I look forward to this session every year. I love that from the time they were infants, Danielle had me take photos of her boys in the same metal bucket in their foyer. Someday I'm going to have to do some side by side comparisons from their early years! And not only are their arms and legs growing like crazy, but so are those personalities! Jarrod couldn't wait to include his even-bigger tractor this year in the family photos, and the boys couldn't wait to sit in the driver's seat either. We snuck in a couple shots of just mom and dad, which got photobombed more than once, but if that's not real life, I don't know what is!

Enjoy your bundle of memories from 2022, Aldrich family! They're as sweet as ever!

Annie's Senior Session

What better way to start of a senior session off on the right note than with the sweet smell of vanilla buttercream? Annie fit in perfectly with the hip vibe of Sassie Cakes' adorable decor! A true city girl at heart, we opted for the urban air on this beautiful November afternoon. A senior at Northrop, Annie plans loves her crime TV shows, and fittingly plans on pursuing a career in criminal justice and business management. But her love for helping others is what makes her who she is, whether helping with her family's snake breeding business, or helping a friend deal with stress positively. When she's not working, she loves writing poetry, which makes the art culture scene downtown the perfect fit to showcase this girl!

Keep up the awesome work Annie! You've got the world at your fingertips!

Heinfeld Family Session 2022

You may have seen these faces quite frequently lately, but that's what happens when you have a new baby and want to keep documenting their milestones the first year! This is the Heinfeld's "official" 2022 family session. For this one we went back to where it all began, Chelcea's family farm. We took engagement pictures here and this is where they held their wedding ceremony 8 years ago!! How has it been that long? So since we were so close to their 8th anniversary, we had to do a few replica shots of the wedding poses while we were at it. I also found out that the simple metal gate at the back of the pasture where we were shooting was the first thing ever purchased for the farm, so we had to get some pictures with that heirloom! So precious.  I love connections like that to be able to look back on.

Happy 8th anniversary / almost 5th birthday and almost retirement session Heinfeld family! Thanks for letting me capture it all for you!
