Aldrich Family Session 2024

I am always so honored to have a family that chooses to let me capture their memories year after year. The Aldrich's are one of those who have entrusted me the longest! We had to get in our annual wash bucket pictures for the boys, who barely fit in it anymore! And Jarrod made sure his tractor was ready for it's close up! But we did switch the location up a little this year which was fun! We headed toward the back of their fields toward the woods to try to capture some of the changing colors. I had no idea how beautiful it was back there! The land was rolling, there were creeks and ponds, and even a railroad track. We settled on a spot that opened up to a valley where the sun was just setting. And then the boys had their own ideas for poses on the tractor, and then took off toward the woods. To my surprise, the pictures inside the woods were just gorgeous!! I love the colors. I can't wait to see what next year brings!

Rodewald Family Session 2024

Another little photo reunion for the Rodewald family! I couldn't get over how much the older girls had grown since I last saw them two years ago, they gave me quite a challenge in placing them since they had gotten so tall! But they were all as sweet as ever. We decided to go to this park in Portage because it had really nostalgic looking stairs and a pretty little creak running through it all. The kids had plenty of entertainment watching the ducks, too! The light coming through the tree just turning orange was so warm and beautiful. I love how much love is evident in this family when they get together. My kids even jumped in for a few pictures at the end!

Keyser Family Session

This session was full of unexpected twists and turns that had Chelsea and I both problem-solving on the go, and in the end I'm glad our original plans gave way. These turned out beautifully!! Originally planning on Metea park, we nearly rescheduled due to suddenly not having a sitter for my own kiddos. But rather than reschedule, Chelsea was willing to come and have their photos taken at my house. I finally got a chance to use my repurposed bench, and it was perfect! Forgot a matching dress? We used my old maternity one I had saved for such an occasion. The lighting was just magical at the right time and this picture perfect family was just dreamy. I couldn't get over the golden background in the swing pictures! Our mini session slowly evolved to a full session, which allowed for another change into cute fall attire. I am so happy with how this session turned out for Chelsea and her sweet kids, and I can't wait to do more for them in the years to come!
