I am so glad this family turned out to be my lucky winners of the Great American Garage Sale drawing this year! They were so fun and open to some out-of-the-box ideas... and even coming up with some themselves! We decided to do an urban shoot at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, which turned out awesome. I just love how these turned out, and I hope I can do another session for this lovely family again soon. :)

How to Display Your Portraits {Real Life DIY}
There is truly no greater compliment to a photographer than seeing your work proudly displayed on a client's walls. Portrait
sessions are a great way to capture memories, but with the right
boutique products, your images become your unique fine art decor, worth
adorning your home.
Boutique
products like the ever-popular canvas wraps are always a sure-fire way
to exhibit your images in a tastefully artistic manner. Newer trends
also include gallery blocks, luxe vintage frames and metal prints... and
don't forget the prestigious coffee table albums for all your guests to
gush over. Oversize prints make an incredible statement on a wall, or
if you are like me and just simply can't choose one image, a collage of
your favorites coordinated by session or color will make your walls come
alive. Try using a variety of frames or sizes organized around a focal
point, like a family letter or a wall decal.
Here
are some artsy ideas from one of my fave clients displaying a couple
photo sessions I've done for her - (thank you SO much Adrienne for
letting me use your pictures!) Hope it gives you some inspiration for
what you can do with the "tangible" part of your photo session!
