Heinfeld Family Session 2025

We went back to the family farm for this family session, bringing back memories of photographing Andy and Chelcea's wedding in this same location almost 11 Octobers ago! And their sweet family gets more fun every year with their growing personalities! Arabella was pretty sure she just didn't want to look at me and smile, but thankfully I had my oldest daughter with me to assist who seems to have a knack for kids. And Cylus couldn't wait to show us his ninja moves! It was such a beautiful morning with the fog still barely sitting over the hills, and we had to use the majestic willow tree for several of our poses. It was so pretty I went ahead and edited a shot my daughter took of just the landscape, hopefully something they'll be able to treasure for decades to come!

Bailey's Senior Session

I had the honor of photographing this lovely cheerleading beauty from Indianapolis for her senior session! Bailey loved all the background options at Metea Park, and even in the summer it did not disappoint. Though I have to admit, this is the first time I've been there and had to angle my camera around people swimming! The wildflowers were in full bloom and the weather had finally lightened up a little from the unusually high humidity. Bailey brought several outfits, and I'm pretty sure we got through them all! She looked stunning in each. And the sweet bouquets added just the right touch. It was such a fun evening getting to know Bailey and her mom, Shelley. Thank you for being willing to be adventurous with me wading in the creek and trekking through the tall grasses! I hope these pictures commemorate what an amazing girl you are, Bailey!

Aldrich Family Session 2024

I am always so honored to have a family that chooses to let me capture their memories year after year. The Aldrich's are one of those who have entrusted me the longest! We had to get in our annual wash bucket pictures for the boys, who barely fit in it anymore! And Jarrod made sure his tractor was ready for it's close up! But we did switch the location up a little this year which was fun! We headed toward the back of their fields toward the woods to try to capture some of the changing colors. I had no idea how beautiful it was back there! The land was rolling, there were creeks and ponds, and even a railroad track. We settled on a spot that opened up to a valley where the sun was just setting. And then the boys had their own ideas for poses on the tractor, and then took off toward the woods. To my surprise, the pictures inside the woods were just gorgeous!! I love the colors. I can't wait to see what next year brings!
